I’m Nicky, a Christchurch-based mum and graphic designer.
This collection is very close to my heart. I released these prints last October during Pregnancy and Baby Loss Awareness Month through my keepsake brand, Paper Heart Design. Earlier this year I sold that business to focus on my freelance design work at Bee & Jay Creative - but I chose to keep these prints, since they are deeply personal to me.
Between my two boys, I experienced six miscarriages, and I saw firsthand how few keepsakes exist to honour and remember those losses. These prints were born from that experience - each one designed with love, care and absolute respect.
I’m releasing these prints again for Pregnancy and Baby Loss Awareness Month 2025. For all of October, these prints will be available to purchase as a digital download for $15, with $5 from each print donated to Huggable Hearts NZ.
